M&E Contracts Manager (Gas/Electric Service – Maintenance / Installations)

Location: Stockport

Salary: Circa £50,000

Full time, Permanent

They're currently recruiting a fully gas qualified M & E Contracts Manager to be responsible for the management of their Gas and Electrical divisions. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of Service Managers overseeing both their in house engineers and sub-contractors to deliver their Gas Servicing – Maintenance and Installation contracts along with their Electrical Maintenance and Fixed Wire Test contracts, across the Stockport Borough and surrounding areas covering approx. 11’500 homes.

Delivering our clients property servicing and maintenance activities for them and other clients, you’ll ensure all works are carried out safely in line with all regulatory requirements and that they are delivered in accordance with company and group objectives delivering 100% compliance. The role will be responsible for the efficient delivery of all works for their customers whilst delivering all services in line with current health and safety regulations.

With proven up to date experience and knowledge of managing M&E contracts in the public and private sector, you’ll have an excellent understanding of Health & Safety in both Social Housing and the general construction refurbishment industry. Further to this you will have previously successfully managed a large operational in house team and have experience of managing Gas and Electrical workstreams to high standards whilst understanding budget & quality implications. A current SMSTS Qualification is also required to fulfil this role
